Full Moon Cancer • January, 17, 2022

The protective, emotional security of the moon. The archetype of the Cancer crab is protective of its sensitive nature, learning long ago the feel of a sting.

Going to the core of the hurt is not something we seek on our own. It comes after insistent, gnawing uncomfortable sensations & stays until your tolerance level wears thin to the point where you are are open.

It comes as gifts that are not nicely wrapped that you did not intend to purchase.

It's where we find that old familiar feeling. The one we thought was healed, rather deleted with a back up copy.

It would be counter intuitive that we would unconsciously lean toward that feeling for comfort. When it's all you know, you find yourself in it like an old pair of shoes once again. Instinctively rolling around in the pull.

Buried in the not good enoughs, that you thought you dug out with validation, only to find those obsessions & mind occupations have slipped through your fingers leaving you with the same skeletal mess of what you started with.

The Cancer stage of life represents your origins, hereditary, home & mother. The primal instinct that you need to belong to have your needs met. It's where you develop an emotional sense of security. The subconscious forms here in this sentimental time.

The subconscious has a way of surfacing. It comes out in dreams, the people we are drawn to, the loops of the mind. Astrologically, it reveals itself with transits giving us opportunities for growth. There are four midlife transits (more on that soon).

This full moon will oppose Pluto, the planet of intensity & transformation has been hanging out in Capricorn for years. Pluto is a powerful digger beneath the layers little dwarf planet, so don't be surprised if that energy comes for your subconscious during this full moon in Cancer.

You don't need to prove or defend. The truth of your pure nature will surface. It takes faith & patience to allow. The answers are where you know to find them. within.
